Learn to make Ibiza's famous liqueur

Join us on an Ibiza adventure

What is Hierbas? Beyond the vibrant beaches of Ibiza lies a whispered secret: Hierbas Ibicencas. More than just a spirit, it’s a taste of island mystery, tradition, and the hidden botanical soul of the Mediterranean.

For centuries, this special liqueur has been deeply connected to the heart of Ibizan culture. It’s the traditional drink, often shared with warmth at the end of a meal – a moment of good times and shared joy among friends and family. Its unique, fragrant character comes from a special mix of wild herbs, hand-picked from the sunny hillsides and green valleys all over our beautiful island. Imagine the amazing, vibrant aromas of rosemary, thyme, and mint. This strong connection to the land, combined with old family traditions, gives Hierbas its true taste and unique charm, making it a real piece of Ibiza.

Hierbas: How do you say it?

'Hierbas' is pronounced a bit like 'Year-bahs', if you come from the English speaking world.

The "H" in Spanish is silent, and if you were to apply the European voul sounds, it would end up something like "i-er-bas".

But don't worry, we'll get you speaking like a local in no time! Did you know Ibiza has it's own language? You'll learn more about that in the workshop too.
